Katie Carrier, CPA

About Katie

Katie joined our firm in September 2021 after working in the audit practice at KPMG LLP for seven years. During her time there, she worked in both the Kansas City and Zürich, Switzerland offices where she served as the lead engagement manager for audits of public and private entities. Katie graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Missouri in 2013 with a dual bachelor’s and master’s degree in accountancy. She became a partner of the firm on January 1, 2025. Katie currently serves as a member of the Mizzou Jefferson Club Board of Trustees and the First Christian Church of Columbia Administrative Board. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants. At GKC, Katie focuses on audits of schools, cities, and other governmental entities.
